Ana Dolatabadi, PsyD, MA, Psy30094

   Dr. Dolatabadi is a licensed clinical psychologist in California. She is the Clinical Director for the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) at the University of California, San Francisco and in private practice.  She is non-judgmental and easy to talk with. She provides compassion and direction in increasing quality of life, overcoming obstacles, cultivating resilience, and managing stress in various areas of life. Although, she specializes in working therapeutically with doctors, tech professionals, and researchers, she also works with diverse populations navigating various personal, relational, and professional issues.


    She applies a collaborative, in-depth and practical approach specifically tailored for each patient. She utilizes a relationally psychodynamic foundation coupled with 

                -CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)

                -EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing) for trauma

                -Solution-Focused Interventions 

                -Mindfulness-Based interventions

                -Strength-Based 


    Dr. Dolatabadi provides psychoeducational training and workshops on topics including burnout, emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, mindfulness in the workplace, resilience during times of change, and other wellness seminars. She has presented at UC San Francisco, Stanford, California College of Arts, CSU East Bay, and other organizations.


    Her predoctoral and postdoctoral residencies included working with artists at the California Colleges of Arts in Berkeley and, with medical professionals, faculty and staff at the University of California, San Francisco.
